David Hyerle Featured Presenter at Upcoming Conferences
David Hyerle was recently a featured presenter at the Believe to Achieve Conference presented by National Urban Alliance in San Francisco and the National Thinking Skills Conference in United Kingdom during the summer 2010. “The conference will: Examine the major education issues confronting teachers and administrators, students and parents, and, ultimately all of society; Expose participants to instructional approaches proven to increase performance, literacy, confidence and competence of all children; Engage participants in a consideration of the unique issues presented by teaching in an urban environment with emphasis on the interconnectedness of culture, language and cognition; Provide participants with a place and atmosphere to reflect and renew; Give participants the opportunity to dialogue with researchers, theorists and practitioners with special expertise in effecting change for the benefit of all children.” Read more on this presentation, and other upcoming presentations in the Presentations section.
