| I am currently consulting with the South Huntington School District on connecting technology tools within the curriculum. I currently work with the four elementary schools: Birchwood, Countrywood, Maplewood, and Oakwood. Initial work with the South Huntington School District began in Spring 1997 with school observations. Summer 1997 workshops included full day sessions on using technology tools in various strands of the curriculum, management issues, Internet connections, and other technology issues. During the 1997 / 1998 school year have I have been visiting each site approximately once each month for full day consultations. Consultations have included group discussions with administration and the staff. The discussions include talking about needs, issues, and curriculum leading into visioning and building a plan. Visits include modeled lessons in the classrooms with students. The modeled lessons include pre and post discussions with the observing staff.
