Listservs (aka email lists & mailing lists) on the mind...and I am in quest of a Listserv for Nash Metropolitans. While I haven't found a Metro Listserv yet, I did find there were many other auto Listservs and I did find the Hoosier Mets website (as well as many other Metro websites).
So what exactly is a Listserv?
A Listserv is used to connect people with a similar interest via a common email connection (and common email address). Interests could include hobbies, political interests, health (e.g. cancer), or any other topic or need to connect among people with similar interests and needs. Those with a common interest would sign up with the Listserv, then receive email amongst each other. The subscribers can email amongst each other. An example would be a Metro Listserv (if it existed) - a message could be sent out to the subscribers looking for a part or letting everyone know of an event or ... There are lists of Listservs/Mailing Lists to search for ones of interest - from education to hobbies to other interest & needs.
