Mapinfo can be used on Windows, NT, and Macintosh to create GIS maps. Their website offers links to users, product information, and data sets.
U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
HUD is offering a new tool called Community 2020TM software in partnership with Caliper Corporation. Community 2020 is a fully functional GIS software product tailored for HUD users that is the lowest priced, full-feature desktop mapping software on the market.
